A year after successfully implementing FlightLogger at their Vietnamese subsidiary, one of New Zealand’s best flight schools, Eagle Flight Training, have now also adopted the digital flight training management platform at the mother organization located in Gisborne.
About Eagle Flight Training
Established in 2004, Eagle Flight Training is accredited by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) and holds a Part 141 Certification with New Zealand CAA. With a fleet of modern single and twin-engine aircraft and simulators, Eagle Flight Training provides a wide range of training services to students coming from more than 25 countries. The school is currently a flight training provider for Vietnam Airlines, one of the leading airlines of the region.
Decision based on recommendations from affiliate school
It’s exactly a year ago that we announced our first Vietnamese client, Aviation School New Zealand (ASNZ), going live on the FlightLogger platform. The fact that we are now welcoming their mother company from New Zealand, Eagle Flight Training, is very much based on the positive experience that management and staff have had at ASNZ.
“We were looking to upgrade to a more modern flight training management software when the director at our subsidiary, Aviation School New Zealand, introduced us to FlightLogger a couple of months ago. We then had a very impressive demo of the platform, and the fact that we could use the same digital tool in both New Zealand and Vietnam just made the decision even more logical for us”, says Brett Waghorn, the CEO of Eagle Flight Training.
Since deciding to implement FlightLogger, all staff and instructors at Eagle Flight Training have received two days of training on using their new digital platform. Meanwhile, FlightLogger’s implementation team has been busy setting up their training programs, user base, resources etc., making Eagle Flight Training ready to push the button and go live.
