Even though the FlightLogger platform is widely recognized across the globe, there are still countries where we haven’t yet made our mark. Until recently, Belarus was one of these countries, but we now have the great pleasure of welcoming Diamond Avia as the first Belarusian pilot academy going live with FlightLogger.

About Diamond Avia

Based just south of the beautiful capital of Belarus, Minsk, Diamond Avia is a pilot training center offering a wide range of training programs with a fleet that includes Diamond DA40NG and Viper SD4 aircraft, Robinson R44 helicopters and gyrocopters, along with a certified aviation simulator.

FlightLogger beat competitors on user-friendliness and support

While searching for a digital flight planning system that could also keep track of flights, aircraft, maintenance, and documentation, Katerina Shaternik, who’s responsible for development strategy at Diamond Avia, last year identified FlightLogger and two other systems as potential solutions. After seeing demos and assessing all three solutions together with chief pilot Vitaly Baranov, Katerina Shaternik concluded that FlightLogger was the best one – not least due to a much more user-friendly interface and a superior level of support.

Last month the entire team at Diamond Avia were ready to go live, and they are today already using FlightLogger for managing both pilot training, scenic flights, and rentals – along with managing the theoretical part of their training.

Diamond Avia could lead the way for even more Eastern European academies

For FlightLogger founder and CEO Kenneth Jeppesen it has been an extra big pleasure to see Diamond Avia join. “Adding Belarus to our partner map – represented by such a respected academy – is an important milestone for us. There’s a huge potential in the Eastern European countries for us, and Diamond Avia joining us might make the decision to join FlightLogger easier for other training organizations in the region”, says Kenneth Jeppesen.

We are pleased to wish Katerina, Vitaly, and the entire team at Diamond Avia a warm welcome as the 133rd FlightLogger partner.
