Aerostar Aviation takes flight training to new heights with FlightLogger

Aerostar Aviation, a flight training school and air charter company located in Adelaide, this week became the 8^th Australian pilot training organisation to switch to FlightLogger’s digital platform for managing flight training operations.

It hasn’t been many weeks since we announced the latest Australian flight school going live with FlightLogger, and today we are thrilled to do it once again. Aerostar Aviation is a mid-sized flight school located at the Parafield Airport offering both fixed and rotary-wing flight training as well as aircraft rental and charter services. As of this week they are operating via FlightLogger.

FlightLogger for handling both fixed wing and helicopters

Aerostar Aviation first got in touch with FlightLogger this spring looking for a system to efficiently manage their daily operations. Running both a traditional flight school and a rental and charter operation with a fleet of both fixed wing and helicopters, not many systems were fit to meet the requirements of CFI Derek Pratt and his colleagues at Aerostar Aviation, but FlightLogger turned out to be that solution to fit their needs.

Using FlightLogger, both operational flights and rentals can be handled inside the same digital platform that is used for managing pilot training and grading, which was just what Aerostar Aviation needed.

As with most other flight schools starting up on FlightLogger after Covid-19 broke out, the entire implementation and training of the staff at Aerostar Aviation has been carried out online. This has proven to be quite efficient, and even though our implementation consultants would have loved to visit our new partner in Adelaide, it is great to once again see that online implementation works very well.
