It’s an exciting and busy summer for our onboarding department with lots of new partners getting started on our digital flight school management platform. This time we are pleased to introduce the Canadian flight school Journey Air Pilot Training as our latest partner.

Despite the challenges that Covid19 still cause in the pilot training industry, more pilot training organisations than ever are currently adopting the FlightLogger platform for managing their daily operations. Last month, five new partners came onboard – one of them is Journey Air located in Windsor, Canada.

Optimizing quality of training was the key reason for changing to FlightLogger

If you like to do your flight training in a Diamond aircraft, Journey Air is the place to go. Their fleet includes both DA20, DA42, and DA40 aircraft, which is just another reason why Windsor Air is an excellent place to begin a pilot career.

Having earlier used another system for managing their daily operations, Journey Air CFI Robert Harkness and his colleagues signed up for an online demo of FlightLogger early last year to see if it would be a better fit for their organisation.

After a forced stand-still caused by the pandemic, Robert Harkness started looking at FlightLogger again this spring. “We could easily identify how FlightLogger was going to save us many man-hours and improve our quality of training all in all. So, for us it was just a matter of deciding the right time for making the change to FlightLogger”, Robert Harkness explains.

During the summer, Journey Air completed the required onboarding training while their new platform including training programs, users, and resources was set up by FlightLogger’s implementation team. And since mid-July, all training operations, planning and registration at Journey Air has been managed via FlightLogger.

As always, we are thrilled to see how well the digital platform has been adopted by the staff and students at Journey Air, and we look forward to a great relationship with our fourth Canadian partner.
