This month, the total number of Danish flight schools using the FlightLogger platform grew to 10 as Zealand Flight Academy from Roskilde completed their onboarding. Being a brand-new startup academy, Zealand Flight Academy is a living proof that the FlightLogger platform also fits small-sized training organizations.

Zealand is the name of the island that holds Denmark’s capital Copenhagen but also Roskilde Airport, where Zealand Flight Academy have their training facilities. From here, CEO Yass Al-Khafaji and his team plan to provide ab initio training for people with a dream of learning the art of flying a small aircraft for leisure, by providing PPL(A) and LAPL(A) training programs. Besides from that, Yass plans to offer scenic flights and related services to people living in the capital region.

Due to Corona restrictions, Zealand Flight Academy has not yet officially opened the doors to their pilot academy, but everything is set and ready and the first students have been lined up for training.

From first contact to a live platform in just over a month

As often before, the setup of FlightLogger at Zealand Flight Academy has been quite swift and seamless. “It didn’t take much more than a month from when I contacted FlightLogger the first time until our account was ready with everything set up for us. FlightLogger managed the entire process of implementing our training programs and before letting us free on the platform, they conducted a great training day for our staff and instructors”, says Yass Al-Khafaji.

At FlightLogger, it was implementation consultant Martin Mikkelsen who had the pleasure of guiding Yass and his team through the implementation process. “The dialogue with Yass during the implementation process has been a pleasure. It was great to visit them in Roskilde for the training day and I’m sure we’ll enjoy a great partnership with Zealand Flight Academy”, says Martin Mikkelsen.

We’re thankful to be chosen by Zealand Flight Academy and we wish them a welcome as our newest partner.
