Several flight training organizations in Australia and New Zealand have switched to FlightLogger’s flight training management platform the last couple of months. Now FlightLogger is set to become a household name among aviators in Christchurch, as the International Aviation Academy of New Zealand goes live as the 3rd partner in New Zealand. Indeed, this could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

About International Aviation Academy of New Zealand (IAANZ)

The International Aviation Academy of New Zealand, New Zealand’s only professional pilot training in a major International Aviation Environment at Christchurch Airport, has been for the last 27 years fulfilling the dream of flight for young aviators from all over the world.

Operating a self-maintained fleet of 28 aircraft from three training locations, using high quality flight theory content provided by eAviator and state-of-the-art flight simulators, IAANZ has positioned itself to be the Best Path to the Aviation Industry, providing airline-standard courses and qualifications.

Strong relationships with stakeholders like Air New Zealand and Vietnam Airlines along with Industry Regulators and Type Rating Training Organisations in the APAC makes IAANZ a sought after flight training organisation in the region.

On graduation from IAANZ, trainees enter the industry with the qualifications, skills and personality required to be a leader on the flight deck.

FlightLogger fulfilled IAANZ’s local requirements

“We have been following the development of FlightLogger for some years, but until recently we leaned towards a more local software solution thinking it would gain us greater customizability to our needs. But after a recent review we were impressed with Flightlogger’s commitment to ongoing development, and the professionalism of their team. We re-evaluated and Flightlogger has turned out to fit our needs surprisingly well”, says IAANZ Training Manager Damien Roddis.

One of the things on IAANZ’s wish list for their new flight school management platform was a preflight acknowledgement and authorization, and by coincidence that was exactly what FlightLogger recently added to their feature set. Another important feature was the option of competency-based training framework, which is now available through the FlightLogger CBTA Pro version.

All in all, the match between IAANZ and FlightLogger proved to be great, and the rest is history. IAANZ thereby becomes the 3rd partner in New Zealand to use FlightLogger for managing their training management operations.

A very warm welcome to everybody at the International Aviation Academy of New Zealand.
