It’s with great pleasure that we today announce our latest partner going live with FlightLogger. Lund University – School of Aviation (LUSA) in Sweden is an organization that we have been working on getting onboard for several years, and we’re proud and thankful to finally announce that they have now joined as FlightLogger partners.

Located in southern Sweden, LUSA belongs at the Faculty of Engineering at the highly esteemed Lund University which ranks as one of the world’s top 100 universities. In 1984, pilot training was first introduced as part of the education program at LUSA, who then in 2006 changed their training platform to MPL training. Today, besides the LUSA MPL(A) course, training programs include a Flight Instructor Program and dedicated training for the Swedish Armed Forces.

Had been following FlightLogger from the sideline for years

As Head of Training at LUSA, Christoffer Lantz has been able to follow the development of FlightLogger for many years. “When Kenneth first approached me back in 2013, we used another system which was also used by the Swedish Armed Forces. Still, I really liked the platform, and I actually recommended FlightLogger to some of my colleagues at a couple of Swedish academies, but it just wasn’t the right time for us to change”, Christoffer Lantz explains.

However, last autumn, the dialogue was reinitiated: “Kenneth introduced me to the new FlightLogger CBTAPRO edition and showed me some other features that I had been asking about. It really impressed me, and it fitted our increased focus on competency-based training very well. I thought, with our high demands for a management platform, now was the right time to start using FlightLogger”, Christoffer Lantz says. From there on, it took just two months before LUSA was fully onboarded and ready to go live on the platform.

For FlightLogger CEO Kenneth Jeppesen, adding Lund University School of Aviation to the steady-growing customer list has been quite a milestone achieved. “It’s no secret that we have been chasing them more or less since I started FlightLogger. The mere fact that Lund University has now decided to use our platform is a massive recognition of the solution that FlightLogger has become. That’s something I personally value a lot.”

At FlightLogger, we are proud to welcome LUSA, and we look forward to a close cooperation for years to come.
