Amidst tough periods like the ones we are currently experiencing during Covid-19, we at FlightLogger insist on more than just enduring the challenges. Looking just a couple of years ahead, we are convinced the demand for efficient, high-quality pilot training will only go up – which is why we are increasing our investments in building an even better platform for pilot training organizations despite the challenging times for the industry.

To accelerate the development of FlightLogger and retain our position as a leading flight school management solution, we have recently added Jonas and Emil to our developer team. Both Jonas and Emil come with strong backgrounds as full-stack developers. Jonas adds valuable knowledge from working with VR/AR technologies while Emil brings lots of ideas from working with PropTech services. Both are already heavily involved in some of the exciting new FlightLogger features to be released in a near future, for example the CBTA features that have already been released with FlightLogger CBTAPRO and the upcoming enhancements to our booking functionalities and brand-new data backup integration with OneDrive.

Joins the rest of staff in strategy to continue providing top-level FlightLogger support

Apart from that, like the rest of our team, Emil and Jonas contribute to our daily customer support. This serves the FlightLogger strategy of involving our entire staff in supporting customers in order to not only stay tightly connected to where the platform is actually being used, but also to provide diverse perspectives to helping our customers. Not least, involving the entire organization in customer support enables us to collect critical insights for developing FlightLogger in the direction that benefits our customers the most.

The hiring of Jonas and Emil comes at a time where we actually see a lot of positive signals from the industry even though some schools are hit by the crisis. Several new pilot academies have joined FlightLogger during the last couple of months and there’s a huge interest from schools from more or less all regions of the world. We see this as a sign that many schools are using their overcapacity to strengthen their quality of training – which is a clever move right now.
