A few weeks ago, the FlightLogger implementation team finalized the onboarding of Global One Training Group (Global One), our second partner from the United States. After having been in contact with FlightLogger for a couple of years, now was the right time for Global One to proceed the upgrading of their operations management by implementing the FlightLogger platform.
About Global One Training Group
Located at the Orlando/Sanford International Airport in Florida, Global One provides simulator training to both airlines, operators, and individuals under the FAA Part 142 regulations. With a fleet of four FAA-certified full flight simulators, the training center is a well-known provider of ATP-CTP certification courses, type rating, recurrent, and other training for the Boeing 727-200, 737CL, as well as the McDonnell Douglas DC-9. Additionally, Global One provides dry lease options for external training.
Decision to start up with FlightLogger was delayed by Covid
It’s almost two years ago that Global One simulator site manager Oscar Centeno first contacted FlightLogger after following the progress of the solution from a distance. “I had been keeping an eye on FlightLogger and their CEO Kenneth Jeppesen via social media, and I was quite impressed with how it had developed into being such a complete solution”, explains Oscar Centeno.
The plan was already then to begin using FlightLogger, primarily for handling the daily scheduling at Global One. But as we all know, then followed a long period where Covid19 halted most development projects, which was the main reason why Global One didn’t go live with FlightLogger any sooner.
“We were happy to see things moving forward again this spring, not least because it allowed us to re-initiate the implementation of FlightLogger at Global One. The onboarding has been smooth and now we can’t wait to get started using it”, says Oscar Centeno.
The team is now ready to go live, and from FlightLogger we send out our warmest welcome to Oscar and the rest of the team at Global One.
