Not long ago, FlightLogger’s CEO and founder returned from what he described as a “quality trip” to Madrid. The purpose of his trip was to meet the staff and instructors at Quality Fly, our newest partner from Spain, and to train them in how to use their new FlightLogger platform. With him home, he brought some amazing impressions of an aviation academy that – like FlightLogger – has an uncompromising approach to optimizing the quality of training.
About Quality Fly – an international and innovative training atmosphere
Among the most popular aviation academies on the Iberian Peninsula, Quality Fly is located at Madrid-Cuatro Vientos, which is one of the busiest general aviation airports in Europe with more than 50,000 aircraft movements annually.
The academy holds a highly international profile with all classes taught in English and a student base of more than 35 different nationalities. At the very heart of their training offering is possibly Europe’s most innovative ATPL integrated program which meets the latest and future EASA requirements and includes A320 full flight simulator level D, night flights in MEP, and even gliding training sessions.
Focus on quality was the main reason for changing to FlightLogger
All in all, you can say that Quality Fly does not compromise when it comes to living up to its name. Not compromising is essentially the reason why they recently decided to change to FlightLogger’s flight training management platform.
”Quality is in our DNA, our company name and within everything we do here at Quality Fly. We constantly strive to improve the training towards our student. Our team never stops looking for methods to ensure our operation runs safe and efficiently,” says Rubén Matesanz, partner & co-founder of Quality Fly. ”We want our instructors to have the best tools in the industry to manage their daily tasks. These are the reasons why we decided to switch to FlightLogger which matches our vision for how to manage flight training in 2022 and forward.”
As part of FlightLogger’s implementation service, FlightLogger CEO Kenneth Jeppesen had the pleasure of visiting Quality Fly in Madrid to train the staff and instructors in using their new FlightLogger platform. “It has been an absolute pleasure to get to know our new partner and see how well our platform fits into their already well-run operation”, says Kenneth Jeppesen.
Following the training, more than 100 students were loaded onto the platform which means Quality Fly is now fully live on FlightLogger. After an introduction period, Quality Fly plans to upgrade to FlightLogger’s integrated competency-based training framework, FlightLogger CBTA Pro.
We are thrilled to welcome all students, instructors, staff, and management at Quality Fly, who is now our third partner in Spain.
