This time we have the pleasure of welcoming the German flight academy FTO Nord as our newest FlightLogger partner.
FTO Nord is based at Hamburg Airport in northern Germany and describes itself as a service company for general aviation. With a fleet of four different aircraft and one FNPT II simulator FTO Nord has the facilities to provide a wide range of both private and commercial training programs as well as charter services. While most flying training is done at Lübeck Airport, FTO Nord provides theory and simulator training from their facilities at Hamburg Airport.
Before setting their eyes on FlightLogger, FTO Nord had been relying on their own custom-built solution for managing their operations for some years. This eventually proved to be an expensive setup to maintain, which made the general manager Martin Stöckle start looking for an alternative subscription-based solution.
“We then had a presentation of FlightLogger early this year and it was quite quickly clear to me and my colleagues that FlightLogger met our expectations in being a digital platform with all the functionality and ease of use we needed while requiring very little work from our side”, Martin Stöckle explains.
Two months ago, Martin Stöckle and his team decided to go ahead with FlightLogger. All training programs were implemented by FlightLogger’s implementation team who also conducted a couple of days of training for FTO Nord’s instructors and administrative staff to make everybody ready to use the platform. FTO Nord is now live on the platform, which means most of their operation management is already being handled with FlightLogger.
At FlightLogger we would like to wish the entire team at FTO Nord in both Lübeck and Hamburg welcome as FlightLogger partner number eight from Germany.
