When Zelf Vliegen reached out for a demo of FlightLogger earlier this year, they were simply looking for something to connect their flight planning and logging. But seeing FlightLogger in action made them realize how the platform could improve their overall efficiency. Today we welcome them as our 6th Dutch FlightLogger partner.
The Dutch flight school Zelf Vliegen has been offering various training services for more than 30 years from their quarters at Lelystad Airport, just east of Amsterdam. Offering among others RPL, LAPL, PPL, and MPL pilot training programs, Zelf Vliegen is widely recognized for its professional teaching methods, modern fleet, pleasant atmosphere, and not least high percentage of successful student graduations.
A more efficient operation made Zelf Vliegen switch to FlightLogger
When Sam Guichelaar of Zelf Vliegen signed up for an online demo of FlightLogger, he and his colleagues were merely expecting to see a planning tool that could help them make flight registrations as well. Having previously relied on more basic flight school management solutions (and shortly on an own-built solution), which did not really work for them, the management team at Zelf Vliegen were looking for something to better cover their basic needs.
“Instead, FlightLogger introduced us to a platform that we quickly realized would make our whole operation much more efficient. Seeing FlightLogger’s functionality in terms of aircraft maintenance, training program management, certificate management, competency-based training, and many other things immediately convinced everybody at Zelf Vliegen that FlightLogger was right for us”, says Sam Guichelaar.
Based on what they had seen from FlightLogger, it was therefore an enthusiastic team at Zelf Vliegen that shortly after agreed to implement FlightLogger during the summer.
