Last month we had the pleasure of welcoming yet another flight school from Australia when Galaxy Aviation went live on their new FlightLogger platform. Galaxy Aviation is thereby the eighth flight school in Australia to take on FlightLogger.
Galaxy Aviation has come onboard as a flight training provider with the Ballarat Aero Club, one of the oldest operating aviation clubs in Australia. A wide range of training programs is already being offered by Galaxy Aviation, all the way from RPL to MEA and FIR.
Recommendations lead Galaxy Aviation to FlightLogger
When the ground operations manager of Galaxy Aviation Chris Hammond contacted FlightLogger for an initial demo back in April this year it was based on recommendations from a colleague from a nearby aero club. After seeing the digital platform in action and reviewing it against several alternatives, it took Chris and his colleagues just a couple of weeks to decide to move forward with FlightLogger.
Two months later, the onboarding of Galaxy Aviation was completed. As with any new partner joining FlightLogger, two days of training were conducted for both the administrative staff and the instructors at Galaxy Aviation before they were fully ready to begin managing operations using their new FlightLogger platform.
For FlightLogger CEO Kenneth Jeppesen, it was a great pleasure to welcome yet another flight school from Australia. “We get a lot of interest from Australia, which is fantastic. It seems word of mouth is doing a great job of promoting our platform and how it supports competency-based training, where Australia is really at the forefront”, Kenneth Jeppesen explains.
More Australian flight schools are already in the startup and will soon be ready to join Galaxy Aviation as the next Australian FlightLogger partner. For now, we wish Galaxy Aviation a warm welcome.
