In November 2018 Finnish Aviation Academy went live with FlightLoggers integrated flight training management platform to digitalize their ATO activities.

In 2002 FINAA was established as a shared ownership between the Government of Finland (49,5 %), Finnair (49,5 %) and the City of Pori (1 %). The Academy is located in the City of Pori on the west coast of Finland where they educate pilots for the Finnish aviation industry.

FINAA offers commercial services, such as training services, simulator, and training device leasing to operators on a global basis. Their fleet consists among others of a two EMB-500 FTDs, two DA-42 Flight Training devices, a BE30 Full Flight King Air 200/300 simulator, a BE30 King Air FNPT II, and a EC135 Eurocopter helicopter FTD3/ FNPT II/ MCC.

After assessing the benefits of a paperless and integrated management of flight programs, ground theory, rentals, bookings, safety management, flight registrations, certificates, documents, messages, and maintenance – FINAA decided to go ahead with FlightLogger. Going live with FlightLogger will enable FINAA to provide a digital experience for all employees, students, and management.
