In Oct. Tayside Aviation became the first Scottish ATO to go live with FlightLogger, which took the number of countries represented on the FlightLogger customer map to 30.

Tayside Aviation is an “Approved Training Organisation” that for more than 45 years has enabled pilots to achieve their dream of soaring the sky. Today Tayside Aviation supports the training of hobby pilots, commercial pilots, and RAF pilots with a full range of pilot courses from Private Pilot Level (LAPL, PPL) to Commercial Pilot Level (CPL, MEP, IR and MCC) and Flight Instructor Training (FI) on a full-time or part-time basis. Tayside Aviation is also the nominated flight school of Loganair where students can be selected by Loganair to continue the commercial airline training.

Based in the sunniest city in Scotland (that is a fact!), Tayside Aviation is based in Dundee Airport while they operate an additional facility at Fife (Glenrothes) Airport. The Dundee base homes 20 light aircraft, classroom training facilities, and engineering support services.

After being presented to the benefits and functionality of our market-leading Flight Training Management software, Tayside decided on FlightLogger to provide their managers, instructors, and students with an integrated and digital ATO platform. The Tayside staff had a two-day training session at the Dundee base before going live shortly after.
