In September 2018, Skyborne Airline Academy went digital with FlightLoggers and increased the English contingent on our customer map to 7 ATO/AOCs.

Our market-leading Flight Training Management software will provide the platform for Skyborne to deliver their first-class training. At FlightLogger, we are committed to giving the Skyborne team a great digital experience and excellent support.

Skyborne is a new ATO providing academy and airline services with a fresh approach to airline pilot training through progressive continuous learning (PCL). At the same time, Skyborne uses competency-based assessment tools when selecting airline pilots.

Based at Gloucestershire Airport, Skyborne is set to operate out of a brand new headquarters. A 13,000 sq ft training centre is currently under development, equipped with industry-leading training aircraft, top-of-the-range flight simulators and state-of-the-art classrooms. Skyborne will initially offer full-time frozen Airline Transport Pilot Licence (fATPL) training with the first cadets starting in Oct. 2018.

After being presented to FlightLogger Skyborne decided to go ahead with the software. The FlightLogger staff set up a new account followed by a two-day training session of staff at the Skyborne headquarters. After going live with FlightLogger Skyborne is now providing a great digital ATO experience to all managers, instructors, and students.
