As we continue to grow and innovate, we are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in a dual-role capacity, focusing on both software testing and client support.

Job Summary

As our new Test & Support Specialist you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our platform through rigorous testing of new software releases. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our existing clients, helping them troubleshoot issues and optimize their use of FlightLogger’s platform.

Reporting directly to our Product Manager, you will be at the forefront of FlightLogger’s roadmap and development.

Responsibilities

Software Testing (primary focus)

  • Plan, design, and execute test cases for new software releases.
  • Conduct testing to ensure functionality, usability, and performance.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs or issues, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide detailed feedback to developers and the product manager to improve product quality.
  • Participate in release planning, helping to ensure smooth rollouts of new features and updates.

Client Support (secondary focus)

  • Assist existing clients by troubleshooting technical issues and providing guidance on using the platform.
  • Collaborate with our Client Success team & Development team to respond to client inquiries and resolve their concerns in a timely manner.
  • Create and update user guides, FAQs, and knowledge base articles to help clients better navigate the software.
  • Collect & organize client feedback for future software improvements.

Key Experience

  • Experience in software testing with knowledge of testing methodologies and tools (manual and/or automated).
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in customer support or client-facing roles is a plus.
  • An interest in the aviation industry is a plus.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., HubSpot) and development platforms (e.g. GitHub) is a plus.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
