Job Summary

Are you a data-driven sales or marketing professional with experience and capacity to lead the Sales & Marketing team on an exciting worldwide growth journey?

As our new Head of Sales & Marketing, you will be the driving force behind all activities aimed at generating new business through both inbound and outbound channels. You will ensure a strong digital foundation across our corporate website, social media, and other channels (organic and paid), and use your experience to take the performance of our sales team to the next level.

You will be hands-on driving our marketing and sales activities while managing and guiding our team of Business Development Managers in meeting their monthly sales targets. Not least, you will lead our participation in industry-specific conferences worldwide, continually boosting FlightLogger’s presence across all regional markets. This also means that you should expect at least 10-15 travel days per year.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will part of FlightLogger’s management team.

  • Content Creation: Ensure a steady production of relevant content to support our customer journey, either by yourself or using external content creators.
  • Customer Support: Create compelling content for new software updates, and make sure our online help centre up to date together with the Client Success team.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Marketing/Sales Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue projections to the CEO and owners.
  • Collaboration: Ensure smooth collaboration between the Sales and Client Success teams to align strategies and messaging for successful joint sales efforts.

  • Industry Knowledge: Some knowledge of the aviation training industry is an advantage but not required. It’s more important that you know the dynamics of SaaS marketing and sales.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate software features into relevant, value-based propositions that trigger our target personas.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market data and trends to identify opportunities and create new lead-generation tactics.
