FlightLogger is a well-established IT company providing a cloud-based Flight Training Management platform to flight academies around the world. Over the last four years, the rapid growth has resulted in Børsens Gazelle Award in 2018 and 2019. To ensure continuous growth, we are now seeking a new colleague to take the sales area to new heights.

Despite FlightLogger being one of the world leaders in what we do, we are still a “small team”, hence you can have a big impact by bringing your experience with sales and aftersales into play. You will be a key figure in adding new customers to the 88 flight academies in 33 different countries that are currently running their daily operation digitally through the FlightLogger platform.

These numbers make FlightLogger the leading Flight Training Management platform in the world. Nevertheless, with +2000 flight schools globally, we need your help to continue expanding our ever-growing Customer Map.

The Job

Our new sales employee will be a key figure in driving sales and create a steady flow from lead generation to startup. The job includes participating in discussions about our sales strategy, identifying the right sales approach and most importantly, being operational in targeting, following up and winning new customers. Additionally, the job is also optimizing the sales process and methods to improve the success rate.

The primary focus will be to manage the pipeline by creating new leads, identify the right stakeholders and establish and keep a close dialogue until the deal is closed. Currently, our activities include researching for academies, participation in exhibitions with CEO, COO, CTO, cold calling/writing, doing product presentations, following up on presentation requests and conducted presentations. Here, you are expected to contribute with your experience and introduce your sales toolbox and sales techniques to the rest of the team.

To excel in this job requires being able to pick up the phone, initate a dialogue and maintaining a positive dialogue. During your introduction, you will be trained thoroughly in the FlightLogger platform to ensure high product knowledge. Also, you will gain a good understanding of FlightLogger’s end-to-end sales process, and the interface to product development, marketing and communication

We strive to create flexibility and with customers all over the world, you are expected to adjust your working schedule and approach to different time zones and cultures.

At FlightLogger we highly value that everyone is ready to “get the job done” by giving a helping hand on ad-hoc tasks outside the primary job description, which includes solving support issues (we currently only have approx. 3-4 support tickets per day), planning social events and baking the occasional cake.

WHO are you?

You have a natural interest in sale, where you show a persistence and relentlessness in closing a deal. You could either come from a similar position or have outgrowned telemarketing with an ambition to move into a broader sales position.

You don´t mind calling leads to initiate a dialogue. In the dialogue you are good at listening and understanding customer needs to identify the right selling points and communicate how FlightLogger will meet their needs. Internally, you communicate customer needs to the product development team to ensure a mutual understanding of required features.

Preferably, you have experience from working with different cultures and understand the cultural importance when initiating and maintaining a dialogue. Also, any experience with selling IT related product is a plus.

You are outgoing, trustworthy and openminded and are willing to go the extra mile. You thrive in a flat organization with dedicated collogues where big and small decisions are taken daily.
