If you ask the implementation team here at FlightLogger, there’s something unique going on between the Australian flight training providers and FlightLogger these days. Within just six months, four flight training organizations have made the switch to FlightLogger’s digital flight training platform. Last week, that tally was raised to five, when the promising new Queensland Aviation Academy joined as the 10th Australian FlightLogger partner in total.

About Queensland Aviation Academy

In the Spring of last year, three experienced pilots got together and decided it was time to begin passing on some of the knowledge and expertise they had gathered over the years from flying with regional, domestic and international airlines as well as in military aviation. Therefore, Brett, Anthony, and Keith founded what has now become the Queensland Aviation Academy.

From their newly established aviation theory centre in Brisbane on the east coast of Australia, the new academy is now offering CPL(A), IR MEA, FIR (A) flight training and ATPL(A) theory courses.

Switched to FlightLogger for intuitive support of all daily operations

Initially, Queensland Aviation Academy started out using another software product for managing their training records, scheduling and other training management functions. However, it soon became evident that this system did not meet their requirements for a comprehensive training management system similar to what they had experienced in the airlines and the military.

“We knew early on that we would need another system to better manage our operations and processes. We decided to explore FlightLogger and that turned out to be a good decision. FlightLogger satisfies the needs of our organisation and because it has been developed by people with industry training experience, it is user friendly and easy to navigate. It was assuring to learn that so many Australian operators were already using FlightLogger and that we only received positive feedback when asking around about the platform” says Director Brett Douglas.

Queensland Aviation Academy officially went live on the FlightLogger platform last week after completing FlightLogger’s onboarding process. This includes two days of training as well as a complete setup of their training programs, users, aircraft, and other resources.

We would like to welcome on board everybody at Queensland Aviation Academy as our 10th Australian FlightLogger partner.
