On the 14th of June at 06:00 AM UTC FlightLogger will add the feature “Unique Call Sign”, while at the same time perform a major upgrade to the FlightLogger engine. This to ensure an up-to-date technical platform and to keep a high uptime, response time and overall stability for the benefit of each FlightLogger user.
New Account setting – Unique call sign
This feature enables working with unique call signs, so each user gets an unique identifier via the Call Sign by hindering the creation of duplicate call signs.
When the feature is activated:
- The administrator will see if any duplicate Call Signs already exist
- The administrator will be prompted when creating a new user if “Call Sign has already been taken” and show the conflicting user.
- The administrator will be prompted when editing existing users if “Call Sign has already been taken” and show the conflicting user.
The new feature can be found under –> Administration –> Account settings –> “User settings” where administrators can activate the feature by selecting the tick box
