On Monday the 24th of April at 06:00 AM UTC FlightLogger will add yet another great update with various improvements.
A brand new report generator will be added which can be found on the user profile under Reports->Report generator.
Instead of the previous “Report A” which is similar to today’s “Flight time” and “Report B” which is similar to today’s “Program folder” users can now generate reports for both flying, theory, tests etc.
Reports will be generated in a standard PDF format including the specific content chosen by the user.
Following this new report generator, the FlightLogger team do have yet another ace up their sleeve… what’s in the making for the next update to FlightLogger is best described through one more screen shot. More info on this upcoming module will follow soon 😉
Improved warning icons and new money icon
One of the many benefits of the FlightLogger booking system is its ability to warn and inform the booker even before the booking is scheduled. But let’s be honest, the current icons represented to the booker could visually be more explaining, that’s why the FlightLogger team have decided to improve these the following way:
- Certificate warnings will show as a document icon
- Availability warnings will show as a clock icon
- New user account warnings will show as a money icon
*User account warnings only shows for customers using the SAM (Student Account Module)
Credit limit and money icon
Customers using the FlightLogger SAM (Student Account Module) will find a new feature allowing them to add an overall credit limit to their account. The credit limit will affect the money icon (booking page) and balances (SAM-reports) which will give warnings in yellow color when a user account balance is below the credit limit.
The new credit limit can be found under Administration->Account settings->Student Account Module.
If you want to learn more about the FlightLogger SAM then please contact us via [email protected]
Three additional account settings
Under Administration->Account settings->General administrators will find three additional account settings
- Renters and students can edit their own image
Allowing students and renters to upload and edit their own profile picture in FlightLogger.
- Renters and students can edit their own info
Today students and renters can edit their own address, phone number etc. but by removing the checkmark in this new setting, administrators can remove this option for the students and renters.
- Require uniqueness of user reference field
By placing a checkmark in this new setting, FlightLogger will no longer allow similar user reference numbers for different users.
Other changes in this update
Together with these new features, FlightLogger has also included more than 35 smaller changes/fixes/improvements. Each of these relates to occurrences in “edge cases” and will not be described further.
Just remember: FlightLogger keeps looking after the complete solution as it moves forward 🙂
